I’m thrilled to finally share more about something I’ve been dreaming up for quite a while — my upcoming painting retreat in the heart of France!

Next May, I’ll be leading a small group of artists for a week of plein air pastel painting, creative exploration, and community at the beautiful Perigord Retreats. Imagine rolling hills, ancient villages, wildflowers in bloom, and long golden afternoons spent painting together. We’ll take time to wander, sketch, and soak in the atmosphere — all with guidance, encouragement, and good company.

Whether you’re a seasoned pastelist or picking up pastels for the first time, this retreat is about connection: to the land, your creative voice, and fellow artists. There will be demos, one-on-one instruction, quiet studio time, and of course, plenty of time outdoors, capturing the light and story of the French countryside.

Beyond the easel, expect delicious local food, a warm and welcoming home base, and opportunities for meaningful rest and reflection. It’s truly a special way to recharge your creative spirit. This couldn’t come at a sweeter time for me and I can’t wait to share it with you!
