Hello dear friends,
Many of you know that life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s been a powerful journey filled with challenges, healing, and immense gratitude. Throughout my recovery, I’ve missed connecting deeply with art, with you, and with the joy of teaching and creating.
During the months away from my easel, I learned many lessons. They were not only about health and healing but also about patience, strength, and vulnerability. My experience has profoundly reshaped my relationship with creativity. I’ve discovered new depths of meaning in quiet moments, gentle brushstrokes, and the healing power of self-expression. Even in those times when my hands were still, my imagination never stopped dancing with ideas, colors, and possibilities.

Art was a comforting presence even when I wasn’t actively creating. I found myself viewing creativity as medicine, a form of healing as potent as rest itself. This has inspired me to return to teaching with a deeper sense of compassion and understanding. I am more excited than ever to guide others toward embracing their artistic journeys. I especially want to support those who may be facing their own personal hurdles.
I have exciting news to share today. After months of healing, I am ready to return to the studio. I look forward to rejoining the beautiful community that has always inspired me. In May, I will officially begin teaching again!
This season has profoundly changed how I see art, creativity, and life itself. I’ve learned to appreciate rest, patience, and the profound connection between healing and creativity. I feel more inspired than ever to guide others toward embracing their own artistic journeys, no matter the circumstances.
What to expect:
- Renewed workshops filled with deeper insight, creativity, connection, and authenticity.
- New exercises and ideas inspired by my journey of healing and renewal.
- A warm, supportive, and nurturing environment where art becomes not just creation, but celebration. I always maintain an easy-going and friendly atmosphere. Everyone is welcome.
I would love nothing more than to reconnect with you and support you in your creative growth. I’ll share class schedules and registration information very soon.
Thank you for your kindness, your patience, and your continued presence. I’m deeply grateful for each of you.
Together, let’s celebrate the return of color, creativity, and community. Wherever you are in your creative or personal journey, know you have the strength, courage, and beauty to keep going. I’ll be here to support you every step of the way.
Here’s to new beginnings and the joy of creating together again!
xoxo,
B
