The first minute I talked to Miss Amanda, I loved her. She was joyful, beautiful and charming in every way. Her (now husband) fiance was a smart, smart, smart, man. They loved each other deeply but they also liked each other immensely. Their smiles told a book of stories. We talked over frozen yogurt about their upcoming date and it seemed like the wedding was far in the future. Her eyes sparkled and her dimples dimpled when talking about Matthew. Her Matthew. Their fingers intertwined and they were content.
That was months ago and now they’ve been married for almost two weeks. I remember so very specifically on their wedding day the true love that everyone witnessed. A lady in the hallway saying “did you hear the letter he wrote? I think he loves her.” The tears of happiness and joy and emotion. The laughter.
A beautiful day for two beautiful people. I was and am so honored. Not only to have captured their wedding day, but to have met two friends.
Can’t get much better than that.
