We are in the swing of summer around here.  Lots of pool, popsicles and playing.  Friends.  Sidewalk chalk and sleeping late.  Movies. Visits.  Pajamas until late.  Garage sales.  Home craftiness. Grilling and fresh veggies.

We also have lots of fighting.  Time outs and pouting (see below).

With three children this is just part of living and being together 24 hours a day.  We have lots of laundry. Lots of dishes and lots of "go to your room and pick up…..did you hear what I just said?"

I learn something everyday.  Learning that Colin needs positive motivation.  Learning that Benjamin avoids chores at all cost.  Learning that Gillian is just adorable and cute and that her sweet little voice melts my heart.  (The others are cute too but older/wiser and sneakier).  Even so, the pout does *not* sway me.  I am a rock.

But it is pretty dang cute.
