Isn't this cute? Colin had his first ever t-ball game last night. Much to the surprise of us all – they won!! 18-15!! It was fun to watch Colin with all those kids, it was also a bit stressful. Colin is in the "kindergarten league" so most of the kids are at least a year older and are very experienced, tough, rough, no holds-barred t-ball players. We're talking professionals here, people! So, although Colin had a bit of a hard time concentrating on the game (you know how much eating grass can make you lose focus) he went out there and tried which is all we care about…that and having fun!
So, since I get winded at the thought of strenuous cardiovascular exercise, I decided it would be a good idea to start a running campaign last night. Granted I only ran (ahem…and walked) about 1.2 miles but it was still good for me! I felt awful when I got back to the house. But I slept GREAT and feel really good today. Maybe it's the dreaded oncoming birthday at the end of the year (I'll never tell) or maybe it's because we're planning a trip to Hawaii to visit our dear friend, Colby. Whatever reason, I feel like I could go play some t-ball now!
Cheers!
