They wanted a picture of her to match the others hanging in grandmother's home. She with the cute smile that charmed everyone. When I walked in, everyone met me at the door but she was hiding in the back, looking in the mirror. Scissors had been found earlier in the day and guess what?
Yep.
Just like I did (and probably you, too)…she chopped her own hair. Mom had done a fabulous job of hiding the missing chunk.
And besides, with a smile like this, who would ever notice?
Sister was so big and grown up….and talk about a natural model! We talked theater and performance and she lit up….so smart and beautiful. The puppy was a new addition to the family and we sniggered at the fact that it hadn't been given a name. We tried funny names on for size.
Brother hopped in and we took some fun family shots….some silly and some serious. Puppy was shooed away. I like to call this series "Fun in Jeans."
More fun. More laughing and silliness. All three of them had such distinct personalities. I loved getting to know each of them. So precious. I think I laughed as much as they did.
But no matter how much fun they might have with me, nothing beats Mom and Dad.
One of my favorites:
Now, I forgot. Weren't we worried about her hair?
Oh no. I don't think we were after all…
