Today is cool and rainy and drizzly….a bit better than the snow we had yesterday but not by much! Son #1 is at "school" today and son #2 is taking a nap. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I've really been into my home lately. I seem to go through these spurts where either all I think about is scrapbooking….fashion…decorating. Cooking….gardening….you get the picture. The problem is that I can't seem to not obsess about any one particular thing. I would love to think of bits of it all and then prioritize but alas…I obsess.
Organization and home decorating are my latest obsessions and I picked up this book from the editors of Real Simple magazine, one of my favorites. And also a new home decorating magazine called Domino that has some cool stuff and hints and tricks. I'm not one to go looking for a decorator – I'd rather do the stuff myself on my budget….

i got that domino magazine at barnes and noble last week–it’s so cool–love the little sticky tabs! right with you on that obsession thing–i can only seem to focus on one big task at a time, or one interest, and everything else gets shoved aside. i’m trying to be more organized, disciplined, consistent, but so far haven’t made any real strides. my current obsession is finding cute clotes for me and the girls for summer. shallow, yes. oh well. oh, and the heidi swapp scrapbook products–i’m stalking my lss.
I totally get this B. Though today is one of those days where I am so overwhelmed with where to start, that I will only do one thing – Laundry 😉
I seem to be a all or nothing kind of person too! Glad to see I am not alone! Right now I am obsessing about getting my house clean and I think the house is winning…LOL!!!!! Awesome layout by the way!!!!! 🙂 Other things I obsess about…organization…LOVE IT!!

Girl, I’m right there with ya on the obsession-everything-or-nothin’ personality! Lol! That is us creative types – we’re all perfectionists. But that’s a *good* thing in my book. I can’t wait to see what all you do to the house.
I’m conspiring to paint 2 rooms (one b/c i splattered milk all over it – flat paint – NOT good) and the other just b/c i feel like it. I want to do it when Ethan is gone for the weekend b/c he would have a heart attack if he knew i was going to CHANGE an already painted room! LOL! Problem is, is it possible to paint and finish 2 rooms in one weekend? Wanna come help? 😉
