My Journey Through Chemotherapy: An Update

November 20, 2024

I’ve been asked a lot, “How are you?”

Honestly, I’m doing okay and hanging in there. After four rounds of the “red devil” chemotherapy, my energy and appearance have changed. It’s been a whirlwind of medical appointments; honestly, so much of it is a blur. I just completed my sixth round of “Taxol” and have 6 remaining. At some point, I’ll need to write all of this down and chronicle my experiences. They’ve been mostly better than expected or hoped for, but still very hard. I share more on my Instagram account than anywhere else. Follow me if you haven’t already!

I filmed a little video to share and show my face. I have been overwhelmed with the amount of love, prayers, and encouragement pouring in. Thank you seems not enough. How can I ever thank you for your love and care towards me?

I used to be so full of words, but now they seem to fail. I wish I could hug every single one of you, paint together, and laugh.

I’ll say it again and again…

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!

xoxo,

B

Hi, I’m so sorry you’re going thru chemo, especially Red Devil. My girlfriend in CA has done that one. Good news, she is cancer free now. She has had double Mastectomy, breast reconstruction, and has her hair & eyebrows back now. That was in 2022. Your in my prayers hang in there. Also, if you have time listen to survivors interviews with Chris Wark, podcast ChrisBeatCancer.
    Love and light,
