O_young_thingStill here.  Still expecting!  🙂

I am officially "full-term" (Yahoo!!!) and am also officially playing The Waiting Game.  I feel good during the day and am starting to really get tired by the end of the evening and ready to sit and put my feet up.  I’ve even been bustin’ out my Colin pregnancy clothes which are, admittedly, not stylish and not flattering….but oh so comfortable.   There is only so much you can do at this point…you know?

I’ve also been cooking up a storm – doubling recipes and then freezing half.  I’ve made chicken spaghetti, lasagna, chicken fingers (two whole bags), tortilla soup, brisket and muffins.  I’m going to tackle asian rice and tuna "poodles" (as my husband’s family calls tuna noodles) today.  I’m enjoying the domesticity of it and the freezer full of food!   My sweet friends gave me several recipes and ideas and I’m so grateful.  I know with a newborn, I won’t be wanting to cook!

Speaking of newborns, this is a layout I did shortly after Baby Benjamin was born – almost three years ago! (I can’t believe it…) I stenciled and used gold leaf on some of the wet paint and used a fun transfer technique using gel medium.  Need to post more about that later.

Right now, I’m going to go have my "second breakfast" of Special K with red berries and watch The Wiggles with Benjamin.
